Beta Terms
Puzzle Pro is in beta. These terms are short on purpose. By creating an account or using Puzzle Pro you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it.
1. What the beta is
Puzzle Pro is a design and layout tool for puzzle books, including Amazon KDP paperback interiors and covers. The beta is early access. Features change, break and get removed. Plans and prices shown in the app may be test settings while we finish billing. We can pause or end the beta, or change who can take part, at any time.
2. Your account
Sign-up needs a working email address. Your account is for you only; do not share your login. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.
3. Your work belongs to you
You own the puzzle books, text, images and other material you create or upload ("your content"). You give Keystone a limited licence to store, copy and process your content only as needed to run Puzzle Pro for you: saving projects, making previews and exports, keeping backups and fixing problems. We do not sell your content, use it to train AI models, or publish it.
You are responsible for your content. Only upload what you have the right to use. Do not use Puzzle Pro to make or share content that is illegal, infringes someone else's rights, is hateful or harmful, or that tries to break or overload the service.
4. Check every file before you publish
Puzzle Pro follows Amazon KDP's published print requirements as we understand them, but KDP's rules change and we cannot promise any file will be accepted. Review every exported PDF yourself, and order a proof copy, before you publish. You are responsible for what you publish, including copyright, trademarks, accuracy of puzzles and solutions, and KDP's content policies. Puzzle Pro is not affiliated with Amazon or KDP.
5. Keep your own copies
This is beta software. We keep daily backups, but we do not promise that nothing will be lost or reset. Save your projects to your own computer too (Save > Computer) and keep your exported files.
6. Free during the beta, and billing
Beta access is free unless we tell you otherwise in writing. If we turn on paid plans, you will see the price and agree to it before you are charged, and card details are handled by our payment provider, not by us. Paid plan prices are shown in the app and on our pricing page.
7. Feedback
Please tell us what is wrong and what would help. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything. This does not give us any rights in your content.
8. No warranty
Puzzle Pro is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error free, fit for a particular purpose, or that files made with it will be accepted by any printer or store.
9. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Keystone Masterworks, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost sales, lost data or lost goodwill, arising from your use of the beta. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US $50. Some places do not allow these limits, and then they apply only as far as the law permits.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Puzzle Pro at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Notice). We can end or change the beta, or your access, with or without notice. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 3, 8, 9 and 11) do.
11. Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If we change these terms we will post the new version here with a new date, and tell beta users by email for material changes. Using Puzzle Pro after a change means you accept it.
